Graphic novels are a time-honored piece of American pop culture. These simple strips allowed artists to create stories that have lasted decades. With time came evolution in the medium, both in what could be discussed and how it could be presented. MANKIND is the story of Marcus, an android, tasked with bringing peace to the dystopian Mega City by any means necessary. This machine’s journey leads him to an encounter with The Reaver, a serial killer and cult leader responsible for countless murders. This encounter leaves Marcus with a new sense of self-awareness and morality. MANKIND asks you this: What does it mean to be HUMAN?
